It's 3:30 a.m.
I am wide awake.
Frown.
I feel like crying because I am tired, my ears are ringing, and I can't sleep. Is this going to end?
I heard someone rumbling around in the kids' room. I went in there. Joseph threw up. Ugh.
What now?
I've watched all 5 seasons of LOST from beginning to end twice in the past three months. I'm about to start all over again. There's nothing else worth watching.
Things could be worse, right? I shouldn't complain. But I'm tired of being tired.
At least the weather is bad. Brad hasn't been at work since before Christmas. I'm thankful for that. I usually don't fall asleep until 4 a.m. Then I only sleep until 9 or 10. But at least I can sleep for that long. I haven't had to worry about kids at the crack of dawn.
Brad has to go back to work eventually.
But, it could be worse.

Christmas in Photographs!
Christmas has come and gone. We had a great time, and I have lots of pictures to share, so I'll keep my rambling to a minimum. So, without further ado, our Christmas in photographs!
First item of business: I finished the quilt I started over a year ago. Ain't she purdy?
It looks like two little boys were very good this year! We had a wonderful Christmas and hope you did too! Here's to hoping for a great new year!

These Are A Few of My Favorite Things
It irritates me to no end that this song is considered a Christmas song. Also, it irritates me that Barbara Streisand sings the "Christmas" version. Hello?! No one does it better than Julie Andrews. Seriously, though. The Sound of Music has nothing to do with Christmas. However, Christmas is my favorite time of year, so I'll share a few of my favorite things:
Decorating: Who doesn't love putting up the Christmas tree? It just makes your house so cheerful!
Taking the kiddos to visit Santa: Their faces just light up when they see Santa and think about all of the presents they're going to get. Little kids are so fun at Christmas time!

New Jeans
Today I bought a new pair of jeans from Old Navy. The name of the style is "The Dreamer." Now, some of the other names they have for their jeans are "The Flirt," "The Sweetheart," and "The Diva." The latter three are all jeans tailored to very petite little things who have never had a baby. Anytime I ever buy jeans, my baby gut hangs over the top. So, I see these jeans, and the description says special front panel to slim your tummy and lift your butt. So, is the name "The Dreamer" supposed to mean "you're dreaming if you think you'll ever wear normal jeans ever again?"
