Playing catch up

Hello friends. I have been gone FOREVER! This is the longest I have ever gone without making a post. So, I'll catch you up quickly on what's been going on with our family. Here are the highlights of the past two months:

  • We went to Charleston to watch the Single A girls' basketball championship game. St. Mary's High School (the school Brad teaches at) made all the way to the championship game. Sadly, they didn't win. We had a good time though!

  • Andrew tried to drown. That's not really a highlight, just a happening. We went to a birthday party at a local pool and Andrew decided to give mommy and daddy a heart attack. Brad jumped in the pool fully clothed to rescue him, and in the process destroyed his Blackberry. It was a big huge fiasco. Thankfully, the Blackberry was the only thing harmed. I got into a really big fight with Sprint and finally talked them into giving Brad a new phone.

  • Joseph has become a ladies' man. All of the little girls in Joseph's class at school are in love with him. He has a little girlfriend named Laney. Apparently they're going to get married. He was going to marry Brionna, but she told him she wouldn't marry him until "he stops picking his nose." I think that's a reasonable request. Laney must not mind, because she sends him home with love letters almost everyday.

  • We went to an Easter egg hunt at the Haroldsen's house. It was loads of fun!

  • We went to spend Easter weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. They took us to see How to Train Your Dragon. Our review? A+++++! We LOVED it!

  • Other highlights include: finally getting my house decorated (will post pics this week), finishing a whole bunch of quilts (will post pics of these also), getting extremely sick (like, sicker than I have ever been), and watching a whole lotta LOST (I love Jack!).

It's been good catching up with y'all! Until next post...
